This project was inspired from the love of console systems and the sheer authentic feeling desired from emulation, that should be within reach of your computer.

Since the beginning of Emulation I have always been amazed. As a programmer myself, I'm still amazed. When I saw Zelda 64 come to life on my over clocked Intel Celeron with 64 meg of ram and two GPU's in SLI mode, I was floored. Reality man and Epsilon gave a new meaning to emulation just before the new millennium. A high level emulation paradigm that filled the emulation scene with joy. I could only dream of creating such a gift. As emulation progressed, USB adapters became more available. This allowed scope with my project and on that note, I present to you, the Bliss-box. I plan to support every controller available, if possible. We now support the majority, but are open to further improvements for all you gamer's out there.
Since fourteenth of October 2007, the start of this project, it was the first of its kind. Shortly after, a few other projects started showing up, most, just failed and dropped out. This adapter requires no wiring or switches, its a plug and play device. Thus far, Bliss-Box has the highest compatibility around of any usb adapter. The success of Bliss-box has allowed for production. The first model of production is called 4-play. This is a 4 player, small sized, affordable box, with dongles for every controller type that I have come across. Dongles will be available to purchase at a market friendly price. 4-Play was designed for the consumer that demands hassle free gaming and realistic emulation.
The project was seeded when a friend of mine, while playing Tomb raider (pc version), said to me, "Wouldn't it be cool to use an N64 controller for this game?". My immediate response was "yeah, sure dude.." Then, the next day, while I was playing with the new PSX-EMU release, I was thinking hmm what about that? Then a pause.. Then na,, that would take a lot of decoding to figure out. Over the next few years, as emulation progressed, I found myself going back to that comment that my friend made.
I remember thinking 'he may be a redneck', but he had a good idea... Today, knowing what I know now and discovering it was actually quite possible, I feel I lost a good opportunity for a number of years. If only Bliss-Box was available back then. Thinking about this, and the countless times my father told me how, he too, should have moved on one of his ideas, I only can say this... If you have an idea, go for it, you may just amaze yourself. There is not much in this world that is impossible. If you put your mind to it, you can do just about anything.
P.s. Thanks Cory...
